How ceremony and registration relate
The Hindu Marriage Act, 1955 addresses ceremonies and registration in separate provisions. India Code's section 8 shows that registration rules are made at state level. A religious ceremony and an administrative registration record are therefore connected but not interchangeable planning tasks.
